Mariposa House Hospice is a registered charity giving services to our residents and their families at no cost. Our clinical services are partially funded by the Ministry of Health, which covers approximately 40% of our annual operating expenses. Through our fundraising efforts and generous donations from individuals, businesses and organizations, we raise more than $800,000 per year to sustain our operations. Your support and involvement is greatly appreciated!

CUDDLE BED CAMPAIGN - Goal Achieved!!
THANKS TO OUR AMAZING COMMUNITY WE HAVE REACHED OUR GOAL!!!
Beds are “core” to our services here at Mariposa House Hospice. We have launched a campaign to replace our second hand, donated beds with Cuddle Beds. The expandible design of these beds allows 2 people to lay side-by-side and maintain physical contact. Being touched and experiencing intimacy with family and loved ones helps residents who are at end of life.
Each Cuddle Bed costs approximately $30,000 and our goal is to replace all 5 beds.

ANGEL TREE 2024
The Angel Tree is an annual tradition where members of our community can donate to Mariposa House Hospice in memory of a loved one, or in honour of a living angel. A beautiful, glass angel ornament is placed on the tree along with a personalized tag about the person you are honouring.
We are overwhelmed with gratitude as we announce that the Angel Tree fundraiser for 2024 raised just over $37,000. This incredible amount will go directly toward providing vital palliative care services to those who need it most. Thank you!
