Mariposa House Hospice is a registered charity giving services to our residents and their families at no cost.  Our clinical services are partially funded by the Ministry of Health, which covers approximately 40% of our annual operating expenses.   Through our fundraising efforts and generous donations from individuals, businesses and organizations, we raise more than $800,000 per year to sustain our operations.   Your support and involvement is greatly appreciated!

CUDDLE BED CAMPAIGN

Beds are “core” to our services here at Mariposa House Hospice.  We have launched a campaign to replace our second hand, donated beds with Cuddle Beds.  The expandible design of these beds allows 2 people to lay side-by-side and maintain physical contact. Being touched and experiencing intimacy with family and loved ones helps residents who are at end of life.

Each Cuddle Bed costs approximately $30,000 and our goal is to replace all 5 beds.

If you would like to donate to this campaign, please click the Donate button at the top and choose “Cuddle Bed Campaign” from the drop down list.
